Adeus Quintalão

In early January 2020, I accompanied my mother, aunt and uncle to Silves, a small town in the south of Portugal, once home to my great-grandmother. They went there to clean up and sell an old family property where the three of them used to spend their childhood summers, now in a state of abandonment and disarray. One last goodbye to childhood and memories, whether they are good or bad.
